With Love (Poetry)

Love filled the room
And passion,
his eyes.
It had been so long,
Since I had seen him
light up like that.

Like the
stars in the night
and diamonds in the sky.

But I had missed my chance
And now,
All I could do
was watch,
with pain in my eyes.

All I could do
was watch,
his brown eyes
go lighter

All I could do
was watch,
his face
get all red
at the mere mention of her.

He was finally happy,
just not with me.
